Tarragon was founded in 2024 by a pediatric occupational therapist with over ten years of experience helping children in homes, schools, and clinics develop essential self-regulation skills.
Named for the plant long associated with the senses and meaning "little dragon," Tarragon encourages kids to feel powerful as they discover their breath. We create research-backed sensory tools that help children and caregivers access calm through mindful breathing.
Our first product is a durable, handheld device that uses biofeedback to reward slow, steady breaths with vivid visual feedback—making breathing practice engaging and effective.
Based in San Diego, Tarragon is supported by an incredible network of mentors and organizations, including Connect, REC Innovation Lab, the San Diego Women's Business Council, and The Empowering Autism Innovation incubation program, among others.
We're committed to building something joyful and impactful, grounded in both science and compassion. Follow our journey on Facebook at Team Tarragon to see what’s next.
